Hurricane Maria hit Dominica on the 18th September 2017, causing major damage before causing more destruction on neighbouring Caribbean islands, including The British Virgin Islands, Puerto Pico and Barbuda.

Iran-Iraq earthquake

On Sunday 12th November 2017, a major 7.3 magnitude quake hit Iraq at 9:18 p.m. (Local time), The quake struck near the north-eastern border with Iran.

Providing structure – extended writing

In light of the changes to the A Level Geography exams and introduction of the Geography Independent Investigation at A Level, I have collected together a few materials which may help students to:
